- Hey guys, here's my new video, which is sort of a millestone for me, because it focuses on a popular korean historical drama - a new field for me, which I begin to love - the main reson for this is that asian dramas still hold messages of hope, love and family values, which are in my opinion a bit lacking in hollywood and western film industry.
In this video I ship TAL TAL & SUNYANG in a beautiful love story with a bitter twist.
I'm really happy with this video, and I'd love to hear what you guys think of it :)

@@refiesu Actually the drama is twisted, the real thing is Empress Ki was sent to be concubine in the Yuan and after she got pregnant by the emperor she somehow became the emperor's favorite so she became an Empress and that's it. The real Empress Ki didn't pretend to be a boy and became a warrior, she also didn't had a relationship with the King of Goryeo that's only a twist in the drama
With all the guys who loved Yang..it is only Tal Tal who has pure intentions and never left her side, silent but sincere kind of love. ♥️💔

Thank you for this video. You're right about Korean dramas in general. Empress Ki is one of the best Korean historical dramas I've watched. All actors and actresses gave a great performance; I admire all of them, even the ones playing the repulsive antagonist characters in the series. Director's work is far beyond excellence when compared to Hollywood's productions. Great team work. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!.

Это то, когда герой второго плана притягивает больше взгляд на себя чем главные герои. Тал-Тал просто чудо.
Тогто, он и в реальной истории был лучшим человеком своей эпохи и исторической надеждой Юань. Правда на него тоже распространяется проклятие меркитов (название его клана) за смерть дяди Баяна
@@Ignatius_Loyola я про проклятие не знала. Ему же вроде император приказал выпеть отравленное вино, как именно проклятие проявилось? Но действительно, после его смерти империя распалась.
Funny how as I was starting the drama I decided to watch some spoilers on TH-cam, and this couple ship had so many video together, I couldn't understand why people were shipping them together as I was rooting for the emperor, but now that I finished the drama I understand why!!!!!! God he's so precious,. My favorite character in the whole story!!

The presence of Taltal confirms that Empress Ki is a great K drama cos even the supporting cast can also be so carefully crafted and have gained so much love from the audience. I like this calm, composed, witty, loyal and brave Taltal. He was the only who could communicated intellectually with Nyuan, which were peaceful and pleasant scenes to watch amidst the incessant rivalries and conflicts occurred along the whole plot.
I still think they actually fell for each other but their duties and loyalty to their people is what stopping them from actually giving it a try.. Its like let me love you the only way I can and thats enough.. All trough out the drama my ships keep changing everytime but her dynamics with Tal Tal is just inevitable.. They didn't end up together, didn't even tried to be together but their actions speaks more than meets the eye and it's bittersweet but I'm OK with that.. Nobody ended up with her aniway.. FAIR ENOUGH
I like Tal Tal most in this drama and Nyang as well. They look so good together. 😊

The only thing not great about it was Tal Tal didn't end up with Sun Nyang. 😭
But in reality wangyu really didnt exist in empress ki's life.its only the emperor and taltal..but taltal died not during battle but after winning the battle and retured because of conspiracy they executed him by poison .after the emperor and empress ki went to the north part tugon died then empress ki went missing so no one knows what happened to her.
I'm still wondering about that...he told her if she gets word that he is killed, for her to go North if she has to ever flee. So she got word he was killed...but what if he really wasn't. After the Emperor died it mentioned later she went North...I'm believing maybe they ended up together after all...💕

He was the best suited for her in my opinion. She may not have been able to save Koryo with him, but her mind and heart would be protected. He respected her mind and her character. It was a slow burn, not lust or LMN type of unhealthy obsession.

He was my favourite. I read somewhere that originally he was going you be the 3rd live interest, but they decided not to, as it would cause confusion, and could takeaway from the story.. I started off a King wang yu fan, then Taltal wormed his way in..lol

Que atuação linda, voz maravilhosa, acho a voz dele tao linda quanto a de Lee Soo Hyuk e minha voz favorita dos kdramas é de Lee Sun kyun de My Mister. Imperatriz Ki me fez chorar, sentir ódio, repulsa, empatia pelos protagonistas. Chorei ate vendo o enforcamento da primeira imperatriz má, chorei qdo mataram Wang Yoo e a guerreira q morreu nos braços de Wang Yoo. A série é movida a vinganca e muito amor tb. Nao queria que Tal tal morresse, ele não foi um simples coadjuvante, personagem inteligente, estrategista, participou de tudo e amava em silêncio a Seung Yang

Tal Tal and Ki Yang really cant be defeatble if they combined.. both are intelligent and smart as well.. both can predict what step to take next.. but, Ki always one step ahead him.. even thought he knows sometimes, but he pretending to don't know to protect ki as well.. I love Ta Hwan and Wang Yu, but the empire is not great without Tal Tal & Ki Yang.. They are the mastermind after all🤭😅😅I eager to know what happen when Ki heading to North? Empress Ki was the first of many Korean dramas that I have watched and I'm absolutely hooked on them. So funny to read the comments and see that many thought Tal Tal and the Empress Ki were well suited. I also felt while watching them both that his character had also developed a secret love for the Empress Ki. I was so gutted that he died in battle at the end. Have watched this beautiful series 5 times. I especially love to wtch the sword fight scenes. Lily xxx

i don’t know why ppl get so confused with seungnyang’s feelings. if u analyze it more u will notice seungnyang was into tahwan at first. but the betrayal happened so it stopped. then wang yu came into the picture. their love for each other happened so fast like all of a sudden they’re in love w each other.
that’s also why when wang yu proposed to her she was having second thoughts, remembered ta hwan and cried. that’s why she didn’t accept the proposal at first.
what she felt for wang yu was more like admiration, gratitude and infatuation. he was her hero and the king of goryeo. she looked up to him. he saved her. she did love him tho especially she was the father of her child. but u can see that her feelings for the emperor grew more strongly as time passes by. she was in denial at first and that she’s starting to feel afraid. and the moment she fell for the emperor, what she only felt for wang yu was care. and nah, she didn’t love wangyu till he died. ppl are so confused by it. she even said to ta hwan that someday he will know her feelings.
and that’s also why she’s more concerned about tahwan’s feelings when he killed wang yu. that’s also why she was so afraid that he will leave her or be done with her.
whenever she’s with wang yu, she’s so formal. but whenever she’s with tahwan she can be herself. she can be silly, playful, she can joke around, she smiles a lot, she laughs a lot
at the final scene, it showed the scene where she chooses tahwan over wang yu then rode the horse together with him. it can be interpreted in many ways. even though the path that she will take with ta hwan is rough and painful, she will always choose ta hwan.
wang yu may be her first love but ta hwan is her greatest love.
