Nice to see your Para GTO has better paint than mine. The Ferrari is one of the best 1/64s out there. Everyone needs to splurge a little. It looks almost identical to my SCM version; probably the same company.
Yeah, any time I see one of yours (that I also have) I feel bad because I've not yet been bitten by the paint rash bug. I know it's coming but I still am thankful for the good fortune so far.
That is a pristine piece to treat yourself to, I can only imagine what it looks like in person. The office is looking good and that Ferrari will look great being displayed in it. As soon as work slows down a bit and I have time to do a custom I will make you one brother.
Thanks David...it’s one of those pieces you can just sit and stare at. I’d love a custom from you brother, and if there’s anything I can ever send in return I hope you’ll tell me.
Thanks Chuck! I thought I had mailed you something but I just checked my closet and it is still in there. I'll mail you a little RAOK this week. Right up your alley.
Terrific comparison video David. Your vehicle and brand knowledge Is amazing and appreciated. Looking forward to many more of these. 250 GTO is nothing less than stunning
Really great to read that comment, Chris. I appreciate it. Thanks for looking at this stunner with me. I am also very impressed with the two C8's as well. I took the C4 out this weekend....perfect weather!
I've got this one displayed separately for that very reason, Karl. It's my crown jewel....I feel like it should be separate also because it is resin, but man it is amazing. I had to treat myself to one. Breathtaking is just about the best word to describe it. The wheels alone are incredible.
David, a fantastic comparison of some very nice models! That Ferrari is stunning!! The paint and level of details! Your office is coming along so nicely! I hope you and the family had a wonderful Easter!
Thank you, as always, Joe. The Ferrari is just one of those to sit on your desk and stare at.....it gets better the longer you look at it. Thanks for the kind words about the office. I'm really excited at how it is coming together.
Danny, it's UNREAL...I've never seen detail like it before. I should just send it to you to do a video to see how many 'wow's you give it. I'm betting 45-50, easy. :)
congrats for that collection! one question, what are the best 1/64 cars ? most detailed ones? can you make a top 5 of brands? cause i know about hot wheels, jada, never heard about this my64...
Isidro, that is a great question. Hard to answer but most collectors put Tomica Limited Vintage and Inno64 at the top of their lists. The Ferrari in the video is a resin model, not diecast, so it’s not really a fair comparison.
Outstanding again. Took a look at those My64's but at that price I might rather look into buying one in 1/18 scale. ... oops just checked ... what happened to those prices.
@@twycediecast hmmm great deal I have a 2008 ferrari F1 model costing abt 80-85$ from ebay detailing is very nice I love vintage cars this Ferrari is gorgeous I have many hot wheels premium vintage cars

I haven't bought any resin yet.. mainly because I'm scared I'll have to buy more if I do ;D A great purchase though, incredible detail.
Thanks David....we are getting there bit by bit. I feel ya on the resin models. It seems like an inevitable next step for me. They are just too good to not have them and stare at them. Perhaps the fact that I'll never free it from its case might delay my purchasing more. Probably not. Thanks for checking it out with me.
Great brand comparisons 👍🏼 and that Ferrari is fire 🔥🔥🔥 super cool and thanks for showing. The interior is fantastic. You should do a video showing some of your most detailed cars 😃🐳
That model is out of this world! The details are amazing! Now I know you did not take it off the base but does it fell light? If it’s resin I’d think it would be light. Hahaha, “house working gift to my self” that was funny! I thought those boxes were cars you bought, I was thinking there would be some awesome unboxing videos coming soon hehe. Diecast room is looking great! What was that one blue car behind the Acura NSX Tomica, it looked like a Toyota MR-2 or something. It also looks to be an Integra, it’s got me puzzled 😂.
Your eye is insane....that is a JL 1998 Acura Integra. From way back in the day. No telling how you spotted that so quickly. Anyway, yeah that Ferrari is "stupid" good. I think the hood straps might actually look like leather, but I doubt that is what was on it. Nope, those boxes are going out all over the world. Including the Empire State.
Ah so I was the Integra. Maybe it was the color that made me think MR-2. I just finished the 3rd stage (session) of Initial D last night, and there is a MR-2 in it. It had a very similar blue color to that Integra so I was just thinking too much about initial I guess lol. It would be cool if those straps were leather. Ah so one of those boxes were mine a? 🤔It all comes together now.
Interesting comparisons, my friend. I was surprised how different the side profile was between the Mitsubishi and Dodge, I thought they only differed on both ends. Maybe they're not the same model year 🤔 To my knowledge Greenlight are true 1/64 scale. The Ferrari is exquisite, a work of art like the real one. Office is looking good, I see you still need to put up the big multicolor shelf 😉
If Greenlight are truly 1/64, this is big news for me. They look like it, and I've been scared to embrace them fully. That will help my collection greatly. I am planning on spreading the diecast presence in the new place to our hobby room as well. The annexation of the Johns' house has begun. The shelf will go up hopefully soon enough. Yes, the Ferrari is sublime. I just sit and stare at it.
The Ferrari was beautiful to watch!! What I like about this company is that they have the real chassis coded models to the actual GTO’s that were made. I’ve done a lot of research on each GTO. I have actually bought every single my64 Ferrari GTO they have made. Also look at 1/64 jec. They have 4 models with the same amont of detail in the other colors that my64 doesn’t have. They are going for $35 on eBay. Get them now, these will definitely go up in price in the future. Cheers ✌🏾
Well well well....this is a very interesting message. I shall get on Ebay right now. Thank you so much, my friend. I really appreciate the tip. For $35, I could definitely try them out. You are definitely right about the appreciation of the price too. Really glad you stopped by. - David
Ferrari was never my cup of tea. However, the 250 GTO is an exception. I like the classic shape and the wheels with the spoke rims. And let's be honest...
