By the type of flow through the tubes in calenderia, are they classified as rising film and falling film evaporator?. If so please do explain the design considerations and usability of the types also please.

why feed is given in the middle ? Why not top part of the shell ?
There is no pump used here, for forced circulation we use from bottom
If we send from bottom we need pump, cost will be high. But in forced circulation we send feed from bottom
