I always tell people that the reason why I'm a Wintersun fan, is because of Jari's ability to tell stories with music. Like there are bands which you like to listen to because they are heavy, or because of complexity. But Jari's music is the type of music where you just close your eyes and let your imagination go. The level of visual landscapes this guy can create with music is just impressive.
imagine listening to wintersun on magic mushrooms, i did on my first time trying them and it's still one of the best moments in my life, only surpassed by seeing wintersun live in 2018 (sober ofc :P)
This has been the biggest release of metal I think we've ever seen in a single campaign event. I haven't been on social media for months but I hope people aren't shying away from how massive this move is, just from a band management perspective! When's the last time we saw a band release 2 completely reworked albums, a new album, and 5 hours of demos and early archives before?? I don't think we ever have.
It's as if Jari possesses time travel abilities. Listening to this, it's as if I'm living the early 2000's again. I love it. The Time package is surely worthy of its name!
