Although not a resident of Wellington I have visited the city and lower Hutt areas over the years(80s-2000s) and always enjoyed the atmosphere of the city-keep showing footage like this much appreciated Auckland New Zealand 2021

Gosh those Vauxhall cars. That's so the Petone I grew up in. Lot's of families had vauxhalls and the Sunlight soap. All the factories were thriving back in my time (60's & 70's).....😂👍☺️

Hi Peter, great footage, thanks for having the foresight to shoot it + adding it to the public domain. Love the huge toaster! I am researching for a doco on Taita, 1950-90’s. Any of your collection include rail or street shots? Love the Hutt Valley Rail-car footage on your channel. Many thanks, B

I worked for Aden electrical in Burnham street for a while in the mid 2000s. Cuba St hasn't changed. Also Peter, I think I buy Temperzone parts from you!

I was 11 then. Most of the businesses driving in the parade are long gone now. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
