i love these things and the whole cultivation ring/circles based myth/stories/cartoons/movies are awesome wish someone would slap some english subtitles and put this on crunchyroll lol
lol.....as an animator myself, i'd have to disagree . I watch a lot of donghuas and Soul land 2 doesn't come close to a lot of them i've seen. it's mostly flashy with it's animation, which I like but that is a way of making something cheaper look cool, Donghuas like "Shrouding the heavens" , "battle through the heavens" or more recently "Honor of kings" are better animation wise. I love it tho but it's definitely not the best in animation, that would be "Honor of kings" in my opinion
The elder brother only think MC is just his little brothers rival. He doesn't know that they are half siblings. And huo yuhao pretty much keeps this identity secret for a good portion of the story. He does tell some people later on. But who knows if they will keep to that or change it in the show

Soul land 2 is just a straight copy of Soul land 1, not interesting. It's just that this one has better animation quality. They should have just continue the older soul land instead of abruptly ending the series.
May be 6-8 episodes until they reveal Wang Dong's Identity, I am not spoiling anything, hints about the character is in the first episode and the intro.
I know im supposed to be happy but I think if you have read the novel, the atmosphere or tone of the way Yuo Huyao's demeanor comes in this scene is quite disappointing. From what I have felt when reading the novel, Huyao is more icy cold, rude and super aggressive like 100% not giving a fk. He even dare shout in front of the audience and speak in a racist manner with his fellow trainer. I dont know man, but the way they deliver it, is terrible. Beautiful animation, but the tone is off. They need to really reexamine how they deliver it to people who have read Unrivalled Tang Sect(Sould Land 2). It is just 5/10 for me because the mood feels so lucklaster

dissapointing season 2. The characters are way too off and the abilities are overly exaggerated. Its like its not even Douluo anymore.
