Blue & White 1st Birthday CakeㅣEasy 2-Tier DecoratingㅣCreating Fondant Goose & Basket

I had the pleasure of delivering this 2-tier cake on the weekend, for Alexander's 1st birthday celebration at the beautiful J&J Wines venue in the renowned McLaren Vale region.
The client had a simple request: a blue and white fondant covering, with a fondant goose on top wearing a blue and white checkered bib.
I had fun bringing my creative vision to life 😁 I embossed checkered patterns on the top tier for an extra touch of flair. To enhance the design even further, I incorporated green buttercream accents and blue and white flowers around the sides.
The bottom tier is a Milk Chocolate Berries Mud Cake with Milk Ganache fillings, while the top tier is a light and fluffy Pandan Sponge Cake with Cream Cheese and Swiss Meringue Buttercream fillings.
