As a new teacher we also put so much pressure on wanting to be instantly effective as seasoned teachers, but it is a day-by-day process of learning, practicing, reflecting, modifying and so on. My mentor told me as a teacher you never truly arrive, there is always room for improvement. South Africa
Hello really enjoying your channel finished my PGCE in 2022 hoping to start my ect 1 soon. Keep going your amazing. Also I deffo will say that teachers like us get treated differently, I found that when other trainees needed help they were supported, but when I made mistakes or was unaware of something as they did not tell me, I was made to feel less than - we deffo need more black teachers as many other BME teachers had the same experience.
