I don't get it in every drama people who wears glasses are unacttractive but when they take it off they are considered attractive they literally look the same with or without them
I think it’s more so the idea that, style really can determine attractiveness, now this troupe isn’t a good display of such but I think the idea is there.

As an Asian, we do have a tendency to "stabilise" first before dating or marrying. You could see it as an encouragement to focus on what's "most important" first. Subjective haha
I'd interpret what I've seen in this video as she just wanted him to do his best for what he has talents for because she believes he can do it. She'd still accept him even if he fails.
