The crochet at the root was a really good idea and using the needle on the ends! I have locs that I combined and I just two strand twisted them and put rubber bands on the ends when shampooing so they wouldn’t unravel. By now they’re totally combined but a couple of them are double headers which I’m fine with. I think they’re pretty cool! But yes your method will be seamless👌🏽❤️
Good question!! And I haven’t used the beeswax one n my hair but I believe it might help with frizzy ness but it might cause building your hair. Depending how far you are in your loc journey, you want the frizzy hairs so your locs can form. Hope this helps!!
The root of those locs don’t look thin. A skinny loc doesn’t mean a thin loc. I have some that are skinny but the base is thick enough to hold the loc. Not all your locs will be the same width. Sometimes combining makes the base too big. Just looking at the base of your locs. They don’t look thin
Thank you for this because that definitely makes sense!! They aren't thin at all, but they're just smaller than what I want them to be lol Hopefully they'll turn out okay by the time they mature!
Hey girl, off topic but can you make a video on your piercings if you haven't already? They are so cute, and I'm wondering if I should get some myself.
Did the same as you. Doing this blindly wondering how long you leave the band on. How long does it take for them to start to combine so I can comfortably lose the bands.
Yes!!! So I made updates to this video if you haven’t watched those already. But I ended up instant locking the ends together and taking off the rubber bands. I’m going to do another update soon of me combining out one of the pics and then just instant locking it with the other. I hope that makes sense!
Maybe instalocing isn't that bad! 😅
I love your locs and you are so gorgeous! Cant wait for my starter locs to start locking
Thank you so much!!
So Glad you are showing both methods of keeping rubber bands on end & then how to lock the ends with needle. Thanks for keeping it for real, real!!!
haha yesssss!

Ooooooo nice!!! And I love those types of locs when I see then I wouldn’t be mad at that at all!
Looking at the base of your locs I think your fine. I would avoid retwisting for awhile.
So pretty! And I love your loc size
Thank you!! 😊
So.... how many locs DO you have now? 🤔
Yes have 63 now 🤣🤣🤣
Lol! Did your me yelling “Intstaloc the bottom!”?
I definitely must have!!! I already know I'm going to end up doing the other 2 lol
@@NaomiOnlae good! 💖😁
new subbie here, hey sis! i'm 3 months instant loc'd but yours are beautiful 💗💗
Thanks for subbing and welcome!!!
You may want to hold off on twisting. I also have fine hair and no twisting has helped keep the roots stronger (and locking faster)!
Thank you!! I'll definitely keep this in mind and pretty much leave them alone lol
I know I’m a guy lol but I got dreads as well and I wanted to know if Murray’s beeswax would be ok for frizzy untamed locs

Thank you!!! And I definitely can! I was planning on getting more cute jewelry for them because I still have the one I got with the piercing lol
@@NaomiOnlae awesome! I'm looking forward to it. And your loc jewelry is bomb. I just saw the recent pic on IG.
