That Cannibal Corpse tune sounded an awful lot like ‘Simple Man’, by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I this same guitar. By far the nicest looking/sounding acoustic I’ve ever had. Unfortunately my wife is a tightwad, and I had to buy it myself (jk...she’s not a tightwad: she has bought me several guitars over the years). Hope you’re still enjoying it.

People forget that Koa only comes from Hawaii and secondly it’s never felled for its Wood. They can only use what trees have fallen naturally. So it’s not only beautiful and rare, it’s more environmentally friendly. So there you have it, no matter how crap you play, you will always look super cool in a still photo.
Wound up getting the satin version of this guitar - Custom K224ce - last weekend. Not sorry. Best neck on any acoustic I have played. Tone for weeks. My wife went with me and we heard a lot of guitars- many costing two or three times as much. This was the winner hands down. We share great guitars and great women in our lives. Enjoy.
Congrats, man. I got one too. I am very happy with it. I had thought about a yamaha cpx1000 or 1200, but it could not convince me with and without srt-pickup system. Do not trust the marketing alone. ;)

Came across this while looking into the 224ce. Guitar sounds nice. But dude if you’re gonna post a vid make sure to get the names right. Cannibal corpse is simple man. Slayer is broken (seether). Three doors down song is Here without you (easily one of their most popular songs along with kryptonite). But above all... change Metallica to ‘nothing else matters’ not ‘all lives matter’. Also sounds like you’re playing about a girl at half speed
Seems like a nice guitar but it may be a bit overpriced as it is selling retail new for over $2000 US. That seems high for a laminate construction made in Mexico. There are other really good laminates for half that price retail and some good solid wood construction options under $2000.
so its been a few years what's your opinion on the 224ce after a few years? i know its more of a darker tone compared to the 214ce but i played it and i liked that sound of it

Taylor makes the best acoustics! I tried a few Yamaha and it didn't have the same look or feel. Love the KOA wood

Great guitar. First thing I did was rip the Elixir’s off (the lower strings are dead) and put on some brighter bottoms. Enjoy!

Factory strings are Phosphor Bronze Elixier 12er
I think they are, she ordered directly from the guitar center website and got a brand new one. Not one beat up off the wall, haha
I use Elixirs, love them, maybe the light in your video just makes them look different to me.
