Is there any difference between privity to contract and privity to consideration?
Yes...P.o.Consideration means, 3rd party can't furnish/give consideration, whereas P.o.Contract means 3rd party can't enforce the contract or can't sue...🙏

@@manjinder2221 you are wrong... It seems you are confused between the two concepts - Privity of Contract & Privity of Consideration.
Privity of Contract ― In general rule, a stranger, i.e a third party to the contract cannot sue, or enforce the contract; provided there are certain exceptions to this rule.
Landmark cases - In English law, Twiddle v. Atkinson
In Indian Law, Jamna Das v. Ram Avtar
Privity of Consideration - It is an old concept that a stranger to the consideration cannot sue. This doctrine is not followed anymore.
Read section 2(d) of Indian Contract Act. Definition of consideration contains a phrase "any other person". It says that a consideration can move from a promise, i.e the acceptor of the proposal, or any other person.
For example, if you ask me a loan of Rs 1 lakh for a period of say 5 months and YG tells me to give you the loan and promises me that if you don't return it within 5 months, then YG will compensate me.
Here, If I give you the loan, then for me the promise given by YG to me will be the consideration for me. YG is a stranger to the contract between you and me, but in case if you default the loan, I can sue YG for the recovery of the loan amount.
Landmark case ― Chinaya v. Ramaya

In indian law there is no concept of privity to consideration. Only privity to contract recognised.
