i really like these xtomp pedals.actually made some buddys jealous that i can basically shop in seconds. they have a phase90.... well now i do in seconds. they have a muff pi taking over their board, well now i do and still room for everything else. the quality of the effects is what sold me. i would drop money if they made a full on amp.

How are people liking this product in 2020? Are there better alternatives for the price? I want something like this to help keep my pedal board small. I have a Zoom multi effect unit, but would like a simpler/smaller option. I would run this with a small board of the basics: Fuzz, Drive, Delay, Reverb and maybe a specific modulation or two during weekly jams I attend with friends or to use at home for practice. We mainly jam random covers of most genres of guitar rock/pop. I'm mainly just interested in modulation effects and this product is one of several in my price range. Do folks have other ($150ish max budget) suggestions? Thanks

the xtomp mini is more specific. only 1 effect at a time so the point is to pick the effects from real pedals you dont want to spend obsurd price for. with the mini being set around $120-150 depending ebay/amazon, its easy to fill a board. why would anyone choose this over the real pedals? well its very convenient to have all pedals same size n cables all same direction, plus less chance of unwanted noise, but a set price makes it easier to plan your spending. yes you can find the real pedals maybe way cheaper, but you are stuck with that pedal hoping its all good. atleast with a xtomp, you can change effect while keeping the pedal, not spending more money. the selling point is conveniece along with quality. if you plan all the pedals you are looking for then u dont need this, its just a quick 'save me' kind of pedal

I haven't found anywhere that says you can save your presets. If you have to redo the settings every time you use a patch...this would be completely useless.
