Matchmaking tries to make every game a coin flip whether you win or lose, so 50 games won will not be enough experience to exhibit this "basic" competence you're talking about. People telling me constantly I'm throwing, to play certain champions, and "Im like bro, wtf do my buttons do? XD" I got placed in Silver 1 on tank. Im well past that point now, with 30hrs played on steam, and I'm plat 5 on all roles. Still, if you never bothered to try and learn anything, that's still a valid way to play. It is crazy what people do, and people wonder why everyone is toxic in OW. The only difference when you go from bronze to plat is that the aim is better. The game sense is just abysmal and considering gold is average, that is scary.
My 7 yr old brother would probably be better then this. Little bro taught me how to play roblox. This is my guess either a older person or someone that quite literally never touched a fps

Watching Jay fall out over that Rapierman DVa Bomb clip and in the stream face cam is absolutely hilarious 😂😂😂 the comedic timing of this video is just 😂😂😂
Jay, you gotta understand... Lower ranked players can't aim up, but they also can't aim down. Most DPS will tell you that they miss more on high ground, so they don't like to hold it. The other thing is, fights for some reason always happen right under the bridge, so you never have sightlines LMAO.
as a gold player this is why i always go to the high ground first and spam "group up" or pings or sprays so everyone comes up with me. i did have a sigma shield and even rein shield up there, kinda rare tho
It’s funny watching a Dva play into a Zarya and even funnier watching soldier not understand what he’s doing when he shoots the Zarya bubble. He likely thinks it’s just another shield.
I have to deal with teammates like that in bronze, i cant leave bronze because im still learning but sometimes i loose fights because my teammates just start running into the enemy team and then say "heal??????" Thats happens alot in bronze i really need to learn more about this game not be with this teams😭
As long as you had an OW1 account you don't have to even touch qp to queue ranked. Also those initial 50 wins are against players who would be equally as terrible so that means you could literally just play and get that 50/50 chance without ever learning because the other players don't force you to
I'm a bad player. Not a dumb player, only a bad player (poor aiming, low reaction time). However, I know I'm not as bad as what we are watching now. But imagine, you are bronze, you try to climb a bit to avoid the total soul's void of low bronze tiers, and you have thoses as mates. How the hell do you expect win any games ? How a solo queuer midly bad go out of this junk ? The worst, it's sometimes, you encounter some peoples with an aiming accuracy totaly out of this league... But they are so disconnected of the teamplay, the positioning, the basics, tho, than they get rolled faster than a Season 9 Tank. (I have found some mates to play with. They are nice and not totaly stupids - I love them - , we had carried each other out of bronze hell, now, we are at our place : Silver. So, still bad, but with fun games for ours skills - or absence of - ) Oh, and to answer to the question «Why nobody is on highgrounds», it's because 1. We don't know well enought the maps to know how to climb on. 2. We fell from so fast than the effort to climb on don't worth it. 3. Did you see the issue tracking up a Phara ? Do you really expect thoses issues disappears by looking down ? 4. Well, now I'm Highgrounds, i'm alone because nobody in my team does it, I'm out of reach for my healers, and as they are as bad as me, they never look up. So I die faster, and I lost time to find a way to climb. I know it because I had going through thoses issues. Now, I'm a lot more at my ease, and the lowgrounds look like a deathtrap. But at least, I didn't learn this in comp', I had the decency to learn it in qp :)
this is why i once was and always will be a qp warrior. literally didn't play comp, even after i got a grasp of the maps and all that. i just mastered all my skills in qp, since its much wider range, i got put against masters sometimes so i could learn how to play against high skilled players (who hopefully don't throw). i got from 29% avg accuracy from widow, to 50% average, and i never played her in comp until this season. i got that aim purely from quickplay anyways, i didnt play comp until season 2 or 3, forgot, but i got from silver 4 (placement) to gold 1 in a constant winstreak solo queue, but then the season ended and i went 5-14 (back with the old ranking system) still gold 😭
the second guy is how i describe most players up to plat (especially tanks). they have one good play where they r grounded so that a flanker can put in side work…. then they overextend repeatedly become a non threat and don’t visualize how the enemies are countering
