I love the idea of painting a lampshade--I have a pair of dark gray fabric shades I would like to give this treatment. Do you think I can change the shade color to white with chalk paint?
Exactly, I did that in the tutorial and I love to use my misting bottle and then a damp cloth to press that water into the carrier paper, really helps 😊

yes, I did just that going from that yellowy tan color to white 😊
You are supposed to let the transfer dry before removing. Once dry, spray with water and wait like 5 minutes before removing.
