I was getting a little sick of them but happily, by the time Ive reached this point, they got me to the Me 262 and the higher tier variants you mention in your comment. The different fuselage configurations of the FW series also add variety while grinding . When it came to Sweden, they have those wacky rear-props to use when you're looking to grind in a more fun way. As such, by the time I got this plane unlocked, it was a pleasure to use a BF once again. I also got the neat premium version with the shark paint job, for half off!
I wish they’d add more foldered bf109 variants to the German tree if anything so we can play interesting variations like this. The Gustavs were incredibly diverse and the current available tech tree ones don’t do justice to it. And for goodness sakes give us a tech tree g2 that isn’t a trop!

Since we're on the topic of Bf 109s, it would be great to see a video from you about one of the more unusual vehicles of that series - the S-199 Sakeen. It gets a lot of bad rap, but has crazy strong armament for its BR, especially in AB where it gets pushed down to 3.0 matchmaking when flied solo.
That is before the 600m fuse they added to the 151s, you can tell as no trail of black puffs when you fire. Now? It kind of sucks as you can't do shit beyond 600m and everyone else can.
Yep, that’s why I switched to the U4 modification, that extra cm of calibre means so much more explosive filler, even though the range isn’t excellent, if you hit you shred. I also recommend diving on enemies with your engine toggled off, they can’t hear you over their engine and if they are ground attackers they fly in a straight line. Easy kills (especially P47s)

This, the J21/it's other rear-prop brother and the premium BF with the fun derpy-shark nose art are a dynamite lineup. That is if you have a stable enough internet connection. The netcode for intermediate size autocannons seems very finnicky and i've noticed they will miss very frequently with any latency. But in ideal conditions, the Erla makes a great addition to the lineup, i would go so far as to say it can rival the premium version . Edit: agreed on the 20mm being plenty of firepower and perhaps even better than 30mm. The muzzle velocity/latency issues have caused my 30mm air shells to somehow miss, even with correctly lead 1st person view fire.
The JA37C would also be a good plane for stock to spaded. At a br where it faces all aspect IR missles sarh and arh missles you have 2 aim 9p stock then half spaded you get 4 aim 9b to the 2 aim 9p😂

I love the bf 109s.
Nothing wrong with the G2, G10, G14. I personally believe the G6 is the best performance relative to it's BR.

For those who like flying in ground RB, all the 109s from basically the F2 onwards is pretty good

I don’t get why everyone hates that jet. It’s an F4J with better engines and shorter ranged missiles. The F4J doesn’t get the same hate

The Erla and the premium one are identical. Also don’t blame internet for your bad aim. It may also be that the guns spray too much

If only it would not fly like a brick. I love German 30mm. But this thing turns like a sofa.
Wouldn't say it's really bad? Sure, it's not fantastic, but the better engine is quite nice
