well, he records him doing it, then he adds the cooking mama video into what's called a track. there can be many tracks, allowing 2 videos to be played on the same screen at the same time! he then cuts up the video of him doing it and positions it along the track so it syncs to the video. hope this explains it!
They're lucky this is the version of the corn dog recipe they had to do. I still remember the absolute pain the cooking mama 4 version was. Try rolling the stupid corn dogs on a cookie sheet without having enough time to screw up even once let alone be careful. I swear when I first got the game this freaking recipe made me cry cause it was the only one I couldn't get a perfect score on. I'm glad Mama finally decided to smarten up.
