Speaker : Nouman Ali Khan - A bit about him
Nouman Ali Khan is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah. His first exposure to Arabic study was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he completed his elementary education. He continued Arabic grammar study in Pakistan, where he received a scholarship for ranking among the top 10 scores in the national Arabic studies board examinations in 1993. But his serious training in Arabic began in the United States in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and formal principal of Quran College, Faisalabad, Pakistan who happened to be touring the US for intensive lectures in Tafsir and Arabic studies. Under Dr. Abdus-Samie, Nouman developed a keen methodical understanding of Arabic grammar. He further benefited from Dr. Abdus-Samie by internalizing his unique teaching methods and later translating his work into English for the benefit of his own students. Nouman served as professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until ’06 and has taught Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for nearly 7 years with over 10,000 students nationwide. Currently he has dedicated himself to a seven-year-long project, of conducting a linguistic & literary focus Qur’anic Tafseer series in English. I had been depressed for a long time due to many failures in my life especially because i got cheated again and again, and over thinking about future almost took me to suicide but I got guidance from Allah s.w.t. now I am really very happy Alhumdulillah and I've got just one thing to say to all of you the only key to happiness is contentment and patience. Be happy with whatever allah has blessed you with. Stop complaining for the things you want instead thank Allah for everything he has blessed you with! Replace your wants with your needs, Don't focus on what people are doing on social media!!! Live your own moments. Perform your salah on time, Read and understand Quran. Only through Allah's remembrance one seeks peace. Stop listening to heartbreak music/songs especially when you are going through the phase when you lost somebody instead Go back to Allah. He is the Almighty, the most loving and Forgiving. May ALLAH Bless all of us and grant us goodness in this duniya and hereafter.❤

I grew up in a Christian country went Christian school then one day I went to church for music I saw a huge golden statue of Jesus I realised their religion so mushed up, I feel sorry them, they have no idea what real what real faith is, Islam is like the light of oceans stays with us through the saddest moments of our lives, be strong... no situation lasts forever and remember hardships makes us stronger...and appreciative😀🙏♥️
Why you even in a Christian school if your Muslim?? They don't reserach for themselves... and only go by Media this making them ignorant of other religions.
I go to a Christian school rn and man how awkward would it be to revert lol. But I’m not at that point yet. Still researching :)

O ye who believe, remember Allah much. And glorify Him morning and evening (33:42-43)
Remembrance of Allah is the foundation of all good deeds. Whoever succeeds in it is blessed with the close friendship of Allah. That is why the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to make remembrance of Allah at all times. When a man complained, "The laws of Islam are too heavy for me, so tell me something that I can easily follow," the Prophet told him, "Let your tongue be always busy with the remembrance of Allah." [Ahmad].
Let me tell you about me. I had depression for 6 years, and for 6 whole years I knew all I had to do was start praying and all will go away. But I just couldn't get over myself... Till last Ramadhan, I started small, Maghrib and Asr, then added Fajr and Isha, and eventually all 5. Between few months that I have not missed any prayer intentionally (or lazily), and I can say one thing, I am done with depression.
Ajeng, You will realize it yourself. Those of us, who pray after adulthood, are like new Muslims. We understand what a gift this is, and we will stick by it. We should be glad that we did not get lost in money and world, and that our hardship brought us back to the prayers. That happened to me. I am finally starting to stand on my feet, after 6 whole years...
Keep going. You will get there.... In Shaa Allah. Make dua sincerely in Sajood... Allah swt is the all hearer and all knower.

Feeling very guilty rn. People out here having real problems health and wealth wise. My problem is that even though I make an effort to study I sometimes get behind my peers and it’s like, no one wants to help me when I ask so I resort to watching online tutorials on how to do my homework. I have gotten terrible, terrible grades before and I hate that I study and not understand stuff when explained. I could get a 0/100 someday It’s not impossible.... and I don’t want to disappoint my family either especially my parents. They invest in me and my education and I bring home a what? A good amount of F’s that’s what.
I don't know the whole picture regarding your problem. But I guess you might be in a wrong field of study. Or the way you approach the learning process. You should study to learn something not to make the high marks. If you learn something it means you make the concept part of your subconscious but if you don't learn and just memorize things, you're not confident at all about the subject and as a result you panic on exam day and you'll forget even a little stuff that you learned. So I suggest you evaluate your field of study and ask yourself why I'm here? If it's to just get a degree, then it's a waste of time and money. If you love what you study, reexamine your learning process. I hope it makes sense. May Allah help you and all of us and give us patience and strength to overcome our challenges! Ameen.

I've been failed in my final exam cz i cant pay my tuition n have to go to remedial. I sold my fridge to attend the remedial but i lost my teacher contact since sunday. The deadline will be 2 days later. I am so frustated coz i repaid my tuition for a year with double amounts and i already took 6 years for it and this is deadline of my study. So anxious lost time n money and dunno whats next

Dua for forgiveness for parents and guests:
رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ
Rabbana-ghfirlī wa liwālidayya wa liman dakhola baytī mu’minan wa-lilmu’minīna wal-mu’mināt
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ
"Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhuriyyatina qurrata A'yun waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama."
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
"Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
Surah Al-Furqan, Ayah 74

I really need to listen to this. I've been asking for a Baby very long time i always make dua to have a baby and just last month there's a baby who will give away by the parents and im eager and ready to have her. One day im alone and i said "ya allah if the baby is for me give it to me i will accept her with all my heart and if she's not for me give me a sign" after some days i feel a lumps on my neck and i assume that's the answer for me. I should focus on myself before the other. (By the way the baby is from the people who is not married)
Masha Allah. Always remember, Allah is al - Mujeeb. The one who accepts all our duas. He will either give it to you in this world, give you something better or give you the reward in Jannah. Keep making dua and have full trust in Allah. Everything I ask for has come true but it takes time. Allah know when things are best for you. Insha Allah.

I listened to a lecture about when you lose loved ones and bear patience.. our children who have passed away or are mis-carried will be waiting for there mothers at the gate of Jannah to lead there mothers into Jannah.... Subhan Allah how Merciful is Allah swt. May Allah swt make it easy for you and give you patience through this difficult time... Ameen 💖💖💖
