Labour gets under 10 million votes and over 400 seats. Reform get 4 million votes and 5 seats. That's the biggest problem in UK politics.

But if you add up the votes the Greens got 26 votes and the Tories 24, so despite getting more votes the Greens have less seats. The Right Wing had an 80 seat majority and 14 years in power and did't even pretend they wanted it changed. Nigel will never admit it but the same in America where Republicans win the White House more often than the Democrats because the Republicans have a rural base which gives them a significant advantage in the Electoral College. In the last seven Presidential elections the Democrats have won the popular vote six times and the Republicans just once (in 2004) - but they are only 4:3 up in terms of White House win
