- Another excellent and very well balanced custom CTF match, this time on CITADEL map. This match immediately followed "GLORIOUS BURIAL", but had a slightly different team configuration. Team RED lost corsairdnb but gained Neovirus, other than that the teams were the same.
Ronnie's 10min "GLORIOUS mode" was still in effect (by accident I think, he normally tries to keep that for BURIAL only) but it was a great game imo.
Team RED: Neovirus, Abyssess, ENTEN Ki11er, blackmatt
Team BLUE: Lokkinez, Wal Kul, RonnieRailgun, TigerBLUE
Very happy with the way I supported that first CAP :)
My RJ attempts at 02:25 are laughable (the ledge !) :)
I did well to secure the Quad at 03:30 but probably shouldn't have advanced with it, I hate to waste a PUp and we did still have a defender so I wasn't leaving the base unguarded...ofc it didn't help that I missed all my rails doh ! (should have used the zoom at that range !) and I guess it could be argued that my presence helped Wal make the first escape, leading to the enemy being pulled out of position to make the 2nd CAP possible, maybe.
My rail at 07:20 was a surprise ! LOL there are holes at the front of that ledge so the game must have registered my rail going through one of them at an insanely acute angle, lucky shot !
Some great action in the 2nd half I thought with some good teamwork at times.
