I own a 94 Trident Sprint with 80000 km on it and it is still my favourite bike. Greetings from Switzerland

"for some reason it overheated and blew a headgasket" is basically the history of all old British vehicles, yet I am still considering one of these for my first big bike.
I love the history of my country and there is not much left in terms of British vehicle manufacturers, I actually live not far from the original headquarters of triumph (coventry). I have always been attracted to them.

Beautiful T3 series? I just want to chime in and say that the painting process on these early/ first gen Hinckley bikes took a laboring 14 hours to complete? A process that not even the T5 series and beyond had? The original T3 series Triumphs were over-engineered and so immaculately assembled because John Bloor ( company owner) didn't want to take any chances with these new generation Triumphs not being up to standards to compete with other motorcycle manufacturers, so they went above and beyond with the build quality and high quality paint processing? I own a 95' T309 ( Speed Triple 900) in Diablo Black, and have owned since brand new....the paint on the bike looks just as shiny and rich as it did when I purchased it..... especially after a wash and detail! A very rare find you got there...congrats🎉

Are you aware if the 1998 tridents 900 have the hole in the top of the engine? I am quite worried about the sprag clutch issue.

Not sure about the ‘98 but a technician would know. Perhaps call a triumph repair shop?

Just spotted a 95 with 12,,000 guy dropped it that thin paint issue and broken gauge wondering would it be a nice purchase but hearing that low battery thing I'm skeptical
