Fast and Furious has always been about guns and action, not just racing.
At this point I would just watch it soley as entertainment and not take it AS serious. I actually thought Fast 6 & 7 were amazing with great overall story but after that is when it went down hill for me and I just started watching it as mere entertainment. Fast 9 was horrible and the space thing definitely was a turn down for me but again I was entertained and I’m sure is which they are going for..
Also I agree with you bro on how this gives you the Fast 5 type vibes. I’m glad we’re going back to Rio and overall this trailer actually looked good and fun!
Lastly, I disagree 100% with her when she was talking about Tokyo Drifts overall plot and storyline. I thought Tokyo Drift was amazing and is severely underrated. Agree to disagree.

The cast size isn't really a concern when you consider this is a part 1 of 2 with Fast 11 serving as the second half this final story
No shit. this one cost 340 million ...!!! That's a 10-year production budget of an Avatar film; with new patents and groundbreaking technologies.... all because of that cast.

Action movies are designed to be over the top. Just an educated thought. But this is a 2-part ending. After this one, there will be a conclusion film to set up the spin-offs. I think it's brilliant. Action films have been forced to become boring, ordinary, and one-note because of social media critics. That's why Bahubali and RRR were monster hits because they were A BREATH OF FRESH AIR for us true action film fans. Some things in life are meant to be uncaged. Eagles and action films. #extraordinary

I also saw the original in theaters and liked it but the last few have gotten beyond ridiculous. I have the same reaction as your wife haha. Hope this is the last one for good.
I was 13 when the franchise first started back in 2001. The Fast and The Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Tokyo Drift and Fast and Furious 4 are my favorite movies. Fast 5 through Fast 9 are also good movies, the writers put in one or two racing scenes to remind the fans that they didn't forget where the franchise came from. Deckard Shaw and Cipher need to be defeated once and for all. I think Jesse should have returned as the villain, wanting revenge on Dom, Letty, and Mia for abandoning him after the events after the first movie, cause we never saw what happened to him after he got shot. Maybe Jesse somehow survived the attack, went into hiding for years and built up all this anger and hatred towards Dom. Leon could have also surprised everyone, returning to help Jesse with his plan of revenge. I saw that idea happening for the 9th movie and it could have worked in the 10th movie as well. Before Paul Walker died, they originally wrote the ending of the 7th movie with Johnny Tran, Carter Verone, Takashi, Arturo Braga and Owen Shaw at a group meeting with Cipher making her first appearance. However, we will never see that happen. Fast and Furious 10 looks like really good and hopefully we'll get more answers. Street Racing is finally making a comeback with Tuner Cars, NOS Tanks, NOS Button Steering Wheels. We need to see a rematch race between Sean and Dom, or a Master and Apprentice Street Race in Los Angeles with Han vs Sean.

Just when i thought the fast and the furious ran out of exaggerated ideas for action scenes , they came up with this movie and went beyond exaggeration with the action and car scenes lol....... I just love how Toretto drops from the cargo plain in his car and lands on top of 2 cars , then you could clearly see that impact caused the front half of his car to bend upwards but then afterwards you see his car completely normal like it didn't bend at all lol........I'll still watch the movie tho

Hi,I don't follow media a lot so for what it's worth about Brie Lawson going by Avengers interviews with the other actors that seemed not to like her and her attitude even when they were talking about stunts plus she was a late edition to franchise and didn't seem gracious about it plus what she stands for* turns a lot of people off.
