Hi, Atahualpa Yupanqui I couldn't reply directly to your comment so hopefully this works. The Micro Vario Carbon will be much lighter and more packable than any Anti-Shock trekking pole. The Carbon will provide a stiffer profile and be very durable all while offering extremely light weight. These are good for ultralight backpacking or trekking as well as trail running. The Antishock systems tend to be a bit heavier but offer good passive impact absorbing properties. If you like the idea of Antishock, check out the Thermolite XL Antishock or the Corklite Antishock. Both of those will be lighter weight options while offering the shock absorbing feature. Unfortunately, we don't offer any carbon built Anti-shock poles. In short, the Micro Vario Carbon will be highly adjustable while being very lightweight and packable but they're stiff and the warranty on carbon LEKI poles is shorter than aluminum. The aluminum Antishock poles will be a little heavier and not as compact but offer great durability and they've got a lifetime warranty on their shaft sections - LEKI replaces them free of charge if they break on you.
Thank you for your inquiry. The review video above pertains to the LEKI Micro Vario Carbon Trekking Poles, so they are constructed of Carbon. On other versions of the LEKI Micro Vario Poles, however, the Ti are indeed of Aluminum construction, not Titanium. Thanks for watching!
Hello Backcountry, would you suggest this poles for daily use? 'ive got also Nordic walking poles but thats for more intense hikes, i would love to have some poles for less intense days, and always having a daily backpack at hand. thanks a lot !

Nice poles!
Wouldn't the Ti refer to a titanium construction, no aluminum?
