Haha, great! I'm having a fun time making it and hopefully can help some new players check out the game and have a better understanding of how to play ;)
Heyo nice in depth guide. I'm a little confused on "attack speed" of weapons. Afaik there is "200" time passed during an attack. I wish there was more details about the opponents. Kinda hard to measure if my weapon is fast enough when sometimes they move 1 tile when i attack and sometimes they can move two tiles.
Great question! I'd love more info on attack speed as well, I am not sure if there is a better way to detect attack speed and if anyone knows, I'd love it if you could help us out here. Perhaps all attack speeds are standard and it matters more what the enemy's speed/movement is?
Great question! Honestly, Qud has a great story, but is mostly exploration and combat. Doors keeps adding content and has farming, house building, and even more, but I'm not sure the world is as large and immersive as Qud... Both are very good games!
Reload save simulator. Game is really stupid. Can't even pick herbs without dying. How am I supposed to have an infinite supply of antidotes to start the game? Get in a fight? poisoned, pick plant, poisoned. Few turns later dead. Reload game, see if RNG kills me again. No point having all these skills when there are no resource to use the skills, and when harvesting those resources kills you. I'd be a lot safer just not doing anything because the systems in the game are pointless. Weapon/armor lasts a few fights before worn. Refunding this shit.
Doors of Trithius is a great game, there is still a lot of lore and history to be explored and created, but this game has a lot of potential
I am with you!
Havin a blast so far! Thanks again for recommending
Oh awesome! I am so glad you are enjoying it--this game is really fun!
Thanks for the guide! Looking forward to more of this.

Don't know if these icons are generic icons or something, but those mastery icons looks like they are plucked right out from Tales of Maj'Eyal lol
Haha, I think generic?
I’m on the fence between this and caves of qud, I really enjoy stoneshard but want a little bit more than combat. Any thoughts

I would say that this game is a turn based rpg first then a survival roguelike
That's a good way to describe it!
Awesome game, just bought it but I keep dying all the time
Haha, for sure! It's rough at the start :D
Doors of Trithius > Stoneshard
Doors is awesome! I need to check back in on the updates.
hi!
Hello!
how are you
Good, thank you! Haha

Poison is a killer early for sure. Roguelikes can be super brutal with things like DoT effects :(
this is way to much detail. dragging on
Thanks for watching! I hope you are enjoying the game!
