  • YHAI Base Camp Kasol (5125ft) to Mingthatch Camp (11200ft)
A group of 91 strangers from India gathered to trek the Sar Pass located in the Himalayas. The trek being organized by YHAI ( Youth Hostel Association of India) was such a lovely experience.
This video sums up the moments we shared during the whole Journey.
Enjoy watching this video and hope to see you guys soon for even more exciting adventures :)
    Day 1
Kasol is where our trek started. Beautiful place filled with all sorts of people from hippies to hard core trekkers. The vibe of this place got us geared up for the trek. The first day, mostly we trekked through a dense pine forest, and moderately steep rocks. At the end of the day we reached a camp site in Grahan (7700ft).
    Day 2
Today’s goal is to reach a camp at Padri (9300ft). Every day we trekked for about 6 to 8 hours, with a couple of breaks on the way. The camp site was truly mind blowing.
    Day 3
3rd Day,s goal is to reach Mingthatch camp at (11200ft). I would say Padri to Mingthatch was the second most beautiful portion of the trek. But the most difficult portion, because of the steep areas.
