    Great video, keep up the good work! I'm from the UK and into quite a few forms of RC racing, But the biggest thing I struggle with is setup. How about some in depth videos/series on how to setup a car? like how you would go to a new track with a base setup and what you would change and in what order, some footage of what the car is doing wrong and what to change etc?

    If anyone is curios acetone really really really does work very very very well. Like melting ice off windows of cars during the winter time.

    Good stuff. Really enjoy the trick with the heat gun. So many tires I've purchased from any manufacturer has that dust on them. Such a pain to get off.

    What's the purpose of punching the holes in the sidewalls? Do the holes in the rims not allow enough air to be displaced?

    Hi Spencer, I'm great fan of yours from over here in the UK.
    1. Can you do some vids on front shock positions on the arms and towers,, what effect this has on the car on high / low / slippy / bumpy tracks.
    2. Lengthening and shortening the front turnbuckles,, what effect this has on turn in.
    Over here in UK we mostly race on Astro because of the weather, mostly 2wd B6.1, very little 4wd stuff, any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks Tommy

    Interesting, I have known for a long time now that you are suppose to glue the bottom/flat side of the bead and I have tried to a few times and I have actually ruined a few tires trying to do it. I end up getting some glue on the side wall of the rim and when I let the tire go back into the rim, it catches on the glue on the rim and instantly bonds and the tire bead is not seated in the wheel properly leaving a lump on my tire. I really only glue the side walls on my 1/10 tires. I never had a tire come unglued on me but I’ll try to glue the bead again next time I am gluing up some tires; thanks for the tips

    If you have a clogged tip, put it in a container with acetone on a rack above the liquid level with a sealed lid for a day and the fumes melt the glue. Same concept for removing tires from wheels

    Spencer put a light (same light you have on your left and right) on top of your camera the lights on your left and right are good .. I think you need flat lighting for this type of videos... just a suggestion . Awesome videos... BTW... do you do the same thing with outdoor tires for wet tracks like Hot Rod Hobbies Raceway?

    The hole punch is for what reason and the two holes in the tire do what????? Dude enough with Facebook
    WTF are the two holes in the F IN tire for please enough with the Hollywood BS

    • @spencerrivkinracing
      @spencerrivkinracing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Hole Punch is to make the hole. The reason behind this is to let the tire breathe so it won't ballon up with pressure

    • @Ledsrule1
      @Ledsrule1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tire ballooning is caused by centrifugal high speed rotation , not air pressure
      We need a tire company to build 2 ply or 3 ply tires
      That would help the problem

    • @malATX
      @malATX 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ledsrule1 rotation causes the ballooning, the holes allow the air to escape more quickly when the rotation slows so the balloon deflates faster. Hope that makes sense.
