Hey I was watching the recent video uploaded by Cragislist Hunter Pete, and at around 29 minutes you guys were asking about those Red metal shoe weight things. Based off some quick research I just did trying to find them, they're specifically - Vintage Joe Weider Iron Boots weight shoe attachments. You would attach them to your shoes as extra weight, and they're made out of Cast Iron. Strangely those ones aren't labeled but afaik I don't believe they were always labeled at the factory that made them anyways. At least I believe that's the ones seen there, back then a whole bunch of copy cats used to exist selling the exact same style of boots, and I'm pretty sure even Weilder's design of it originally came from York Barbell's design. There's also the Healthboot Hollywood Weights to which are nearly 1:1, but based off what I've seen those usually came in black, not red. They go for anywhere from $60 - $100, sometimes more but it's rare. I've never seen ones in such good condition tho. It's basically an item that's just from a forgotten market that used to exist from the 1930's to 1970's.
