    Awesome! I stole this lick from you off the Salty Dog banjo demo and I've felt guilty ever since. Great to hear you stole it from a mystery source and I can stop sweating it. Now if I could have back all the time I spent slowing down that video when there was already this deconstruction available!

    A great lick, a great player....and a fabulous banjo....I presume this is a Bishline....what model is it....? It has such a great tone and I love the fact that it's understated and not too over-fancy.

    I am not 100 pct sure, but “I think” I heard Alan Munde use this lick in a Banjo presentation back in the 90’s.

    Great Lick,I have 2 other licks that mesh with yours perfectly,one was a "D" lick I think from "Red Haired Boy" that was an accident I grabbed one fret up and had such a "Bluesy sound I remembered it and now use occasionally " I love this vid so much I hope I don't wear it out,LOL I live in a place with nobody to pick with so I kinda live in You Tube Land
