Incredible production. It was like watching an arthouse film. Restrained but utterly exquisite and wearable. The pared back accessories, casting, styling, set design, lighting and camera narration all came together. The music was so good I’m not sure who inspired whom first. I’ve never seen a show with such tension from start to finish.

Feels like a dreamlike collection of an Uber Punk / Mods kid that got transferred to the Upper East Side NY private school would wear - with confident and great style. Bravo 👏 Pier Paolo Piccioli!
LOVED the B/W theme. So classic! The house of Valentino IS a go to, for glamorous, sophisticated party garments.
The whole makeup is very individual, and the black tie is versatile for men and women.

Highlights
1) Almost everyone rocked the same black ankle boots
2) Monochrome with pops of colour
3) Individuality of the models
4) The sparkly outfits, one of which so, so similar to one my mum wore in the late 60s/early 70s
5) The perfect sound track by Robert Del Naja that brought it all together so beautifully
6) The setting. Gorgeous building with sumptuous flora.
Tbh, I watched it for the soundtrack by RDN, but found myself captivated. Simply stunning 🧡X

A good collection for the blacktie theme - new outfits and consistent designs with a clear message and focus of market segment.. A very valuable addition to the Valentino collections. MB.
Loved a lot of pieces, most are quite wearable, easy to mix. Reminded me of the punk/new age era. A detail I've noticed is that there were a lot of not so good-looking legs considering the amount of shorts and mini skirts in the collection.
