Actually there was an old undertake fan game that swaps the characters for Mario characters and in the “Mario” fight they did the same thing
I just sat and shot randomly. Justice for the monsters yadayada. I hated every last second of the puns
i know this has been said probably a million times already, but i absolutely love how sans hasnt absorbed the souls like omega flowey, but rather is fighting with them. i love the implication that the souls that would normally help you during the omega flowey fight are taking a stand against you after seeing what youve done.

Bro the fact that this looks like it could be a real battle is impressive wtf. The attacks feels pretty balanced, the length is moderate with like a small break before the final attack. Honestly good job.

I like how at the end the souls take full charge of the attacks seeing how tired sans is.
i like how the animation about sans fighting with the human souls is one of the most reasonable and realistic undertale battle animations i’ve seen
blue soul is much loyal to sans because he has soul manipulation.

if you mean the platformer when they were jumping up that was a scrapped sans attack and removed as it was to hard there is alot of hard attacks that were scrapped for sans
@@Red-or3yu I know, but this is also directed to the sideways ones. All fangames do "jump right while dodging" while Sans NEVER does that and has actual platforming challenges that are short obstacle courses.
I actually had an idea really similar to this a few weeks ago, even going so far as to match up with Sans not absorbing the souls, but allying with them. I really like this animation for that! It feels like somebody picking up an idea I couldn’t really expand upon, so that’s nice.
Also, Finale for the Bonely One is always pleasant.
this animation is like a remake of Seraphin Sans, but more "normal" and playable
I think at the end it would be more realistic to absorb the souls, just doing nothing and not absorbing the souls at the end just means "I give up, you win" and when your goal is to make the player quit, that doesn't make any sense, and because the souls wouldn't revolt against sans, it'd probably be an instant win
I just love by how the six soul is protecting sans when chara attack sans instead just standing still

Fun fact: Finale for the bonely one and ainavol originated from undertale the final run before it became a "No AU"

I saw a bunch of other comments asking why sans got tired so fast so here’s what i think happened.
Sans probably decided to go all out with his attacks and putting more power into them, he was probably lacking sleep as well because it mentions that this isnt the first time that the player did a genocide so sans probably didnt get sleep out of fear
Yeah but I'm just not convinced someone like sans would tire out THAT fast, yeah he's lazy, but we never see him "tire out" in the real game, sans just decides to take his turn forever to avoid tiring out, and even if the souls here are not giving him power directly, they are still aiding in a majority of the attacks, saving SOME of Sans's stamina, I also think that the souls should use sans as a host after he tires out as a last ditch effort to lock the player out (because 6 souls is more determined then 1, therefore letting sans control saves to wipe out the player and/or reset the timeline) and I know that sounds a bit much, but think about it, the souls were humans once too, they have been killed by monsters and what-not, so the fact that they are siding with sans, the very some race that killed them, shows that even THEY are repulsed by your actions, at least the king regrets his choices, but you? you slaughters innocent monster for no reason other then to see what happens

The part where Frisk moved the box to the fight button, I noticed that the other buttons got darker except for MERCY, which made me realize that the option to spare him was there and available, but they just couldn’t care less

1:51 i think the only reason it does this parelel screens thing is not only bc "you have been through this attack before, multiple times" i like to think its also a call out to other fan games using this attack saying smth like "repaeted, unoriginal"
The isue isnt that you have been through it before but you were been through before.

there is an actual fangame of this called oceot sans and its so had that you have 1980 LOVE and after winning have 10000 LOVE and have 1980 HP but sans does 20 dmg per frame and you swap between soul colors and even combine them like playing as yellow-green so u have to block bones while shooting others and cyan is blue heart without jumping

The theme actually kinda sounds like toby would make it.
And the animation really embodies the heroism of sans' battle and ups it by a bunch.

2:46 Let go of the nonsense that Sanses is thinking about them and fighting. Sanses's duty is to judge you when you reach level 19, he says this himself in the war. He is doing this because it is his duty, not for them. he even said he wouldn't come if he didn't have a job.

Looks extremely sick, however it's just insanely unrealistic for sans to get tired THAT fast, ESPECIALLY while using the souls. His win rate would be even higher if he absorbed them but I guess that is what makes this animation unique. Good job
to be fair, it looks like he's throwing his all into that one attack, unlike the normal sans fight where he doesn't instantly go fucking nuts on you.
@@stangermorireal yea but he's working along side the souls, even if the souls themselves don't give sans more stamina, they are aiding in a MAGORITY of the attacks, so even if sans IS putting it all into one attack, I feel he wouldn't tire this fast
Sans seems like he's putting a hell of a lot more effort into these attacks than his regular fight, to be fair.
I think it would be a fun concept for this battle, if you could attack the souls, and Sans can throw as many crazy attacks as he does, because the souls constantly heal him, replenishing his stamina, so you destroy the souls one by one, (Maybe with a little VS Soul turn like in the Omega Flowey fight, before they get fully destroyed.) And at the end, Sans runs out of energy, with nobody to heal him, and falls to the ground in defeat, launching one last attack with all of his strength, before being killed.
