The colors of the houses in Daisytown were so charming! And it was amazing to see all of the textures used. You'll definitely want a few different designs/layouts that will make each place different with it's own personality. I think fireplaces are a must for the mountains (those river rock ones were beautiful) as well as outside lounging areas like the back terraces, big front porches with rockers, or little nooks to enjoy all the beautiful nature around. You mentioned rooms were small back in those times. I think keeping the size moderate will keep it feeling cozy. Can't wait to see more! 💜

Excellent thoughts and I'm on the same kind of wave length. As the channel develops I show more and more of the stuff going on inside this noggin. I'd love to step back to that time with all of the energy efficiency and modern conveniences we are blessed with now.

I love the little touches of color on those Emert's cabins. Especially that burnt amber. Gives them individuality and character. Nothing cookie cutter there and that's good.

I totally agree! Uniqueness at every turn. I think we too often fond ourselves in a rut of using the same styles and colors rather than taking chances.

One of the charms of Emery’s Cove is all the differences, yet not mansions! I think it very exciting for you and Amanda to be moving in this kind of direction. I especially love most all the windows bordered by lush color, I.e. forest green, deep reds, etc. So enjoyed the video and look forward to seeing your property!

Love it, why so extravagant on the homes and the exteriors. To do this, we'll most definitely have to step out of our comfort zones and these cabins I know you love are a great example of these homes coming together in special ways.

I can tell how excited you both are. I loved the video and the music you used. I too have been by some of those cabins in Emerts Cove a zilion times, but never been up close as you did in this video. Thank you for the tour. Mom

The sum is greater than its parts for sure. These cabins are special because of the little features adding together and because they somehow compliment one another with a truly quaint vibe.

You are right, it is a sweet spot in the world. No place I'd rather spend the rest...

Yes that's correct. Our project rests up on a mountain. My reference may have been about emerts Cove, just a couple miles away. Thanks for watching.
