Book of Hadith : Ahmed (2747) Dramy (27) and Abo ya'la (2463) and Ibn haban (2966)(2965) and Al-Tobrany in his "Long Hadiths" (44) and the "Mo'gam Al Kabeer" (12115) etc.....
all of these heard this story starting with Hamad ibn salmah, from 'ata' ibn al-sa'eb, from sa'eed ibn gabeer, from ibn 'abas from the Prophet (PBUH)
It is a true hadith.

رواه أحمد (2747) والدرامي في الرد على الجهمية (27) وأبو يعلى في مسنده (2463) وابن حبان في صحيحه (2966) (2965) والطبراني في الأحاديث الطوال (44) والمعجم الكبير (12115)والحاكم في المستدرك ( 3793) ومن طريقه البيهقي في شعب الإيمان (1587) ومن طريق غير طريق الحاكم مع الإتفاق في المخرج رواه البيهقي في دلائل النبوة (676) وابن الجوزي في المنتظم كلهم من طريق حماد بن سلمة عن عطاء بن السائب عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس عن النبي
