Let's see, Minshew consistently gives up a choke fumble in second half of games. They got yards running today, but that would generally be an O-line or RB issue. The defense sat way back giving up lots of yards, biggest problem. Didn't get it done on offense in the red-zone. Can't blame the play-calling on this one. Let's see what Ridder can do at QB.

This is kinda shaping up to the similar to the art shell 2nd stint with the raiders as HC where he just apologized for everything. AP obviously is not an apologetic guy - but sports are tricky this way. The leagues are so shaped in such a manner that the shield is not safe for anyone but the direct executives of the shield. I liked Art Shell, they just didn't have the players they needed on offense back then. You look at Raiders roster nowadays, they just need the right coaches. Back then they needed the players. The current O-line doesn't get much of a push though, and not that great at protection either. Compare Raiders O-line with Broncos O-line, it's night and day difference.
Getsy was a last minute hire like Minshew, so he was gone regardless, qb play trash, Oline play trash. We’re IN THE REBUILD. This will be a multiple year process.

Then he basically cucked his head coach from trading up in the draft for his QB by hiring coupon Tom instead of Champ Kelly. Guarantee the team would’ve looked different with champ as GM and we probably would’ve drafted a QB. Then the icing on the cake was when he gave them 2 year contracts which screwed AP from hiring Kliff and had to settle with Getsey. This is kinda shaping up to the similar to the art shell 2nd stint with the raiders as HC where he just apologized for everything. AP obviously is not an apologetic guy - but sports are tricky this way. The leagues are so shaped in such a manner that the shield is not safe for anyone but the direct executives of the shield. So who knows anymore - The raiders at this rate will continue to be a visitor's playground.
I liked Art Shell, they just didn't have the players they needed on offense back then. You look at Raiders roster nowadays, they just need the right coaches. Back then they needed the players.
The current O-line doesn't get much of a push though, and not that great at protection either. Compare Raiders O-line with Broncos O-line, it's night and day difference.
