In a patriarchal world, most people want reunions of a director and a male actor combo and rarely dream of a reunion of a director with a female actor. But... I honestly want a reunion of Gautham and Jyotika together again. Honestly Jo has been doing some underwhelming/mediocre films for the most part in her comeback. A film with Gautham would be a perfect antidote to that! This interview clearly shows how she was instrumental in Kaakha Kaakha even happening. And her best films came with Gautham (Kaakha Kaakha, Vettaiyaadu Vilayadu). Hoping Gautham can do a stylish crime thriller with Jyotika as the lead protagonist where its not really a woman centric film, but a film where a woman plays the lead character. 2D can easily produce it. If no theatre, release it for OTT on Netflix or Prime.
That's a great idea. I agree, Jyothika's best performances were from Gautham. He brought out the strong, subtle performer in her. She is mature, strong, and beautiful. Gautham can tap into that aspect beautifully fir a new film.

In Kaithi, when they reveal whos inside the jail (referring to Harish Uthaman). I felt that the build up to the man inside, would have been justified even more if it was actor Jeevan alias Pandia from KK.
My all time fav. Saw it more than 50 times in Theaters. GVM a true inspiration to youngsters . Minnale , Kakha Kakha , VTV .. Varamairam ... All are magical ..

I was in 8th standard when this movie released i pressurized my mom to watch this film because of the songs and promotion done by producer dhanu sir and i watched it in theater very different and new experience for me,somehow this movie seems to be different from other movies i watched until at that of time
I was not even born when MINNALAE got released and am 22 now still I can't compare any song with venmathiyae venmathiyae. I thing only in GVM movies this magic will happen and gvm and gvm movies sculpted me from kaapu to love and even to overcome from that love. Gvm a screenplay writer of my life.
