I love yawls take on it because I love that Billie Eilish always talks about our songs interpret differently for each person but she did an interview about this song is one of the biggest things she said was it’s self-explanatory if you saw my documentary because it explains basically all of her emotions that she was feeling when Q didn’t support her during Coachella when she was the one that invited him if he agreed to spend time with her and he didn’t have time to talk where he was OK with partying with his friends he wasn’t there for her after Coachella when she had messed up and needed that support he didn’t wanna spend time with her and then he calls her later because he just found out after he promised he wouldn’t and then after the break up and after talking to Joe came out he started talking crap about her and saying but it’s her fault that everybody’s against him when she never said anything negative about him she never said anything negative about their relationship on the Internet or anything only heated that it’s literally action for action Word for Word what happened in the documentary and on social media after but she said the water coming in was how she felt that she was drowning in her tears and yeah he just wouldn’t leave her alone in the world turned against him for the way he treated her and that she felt like she was constantly driving and so funny she through that and felt like she swam to the top and had so much freedom and it was so cleansing it was like dancing in the rain and just screaming her head off
