Ang terminong State at Nation ay kadalasang napagpapalit sa mga ordinaryong pag-uusap. Ngunit, pareho nga lang ba ang dalawang ito? Sa video na ito, ating aralin ang kahulugan at pagkakaiba ng State at Nation.

For that last question in this video, the Philippines have its own nations that had their ethnicity and customs. Each regions have their own beliefs, traditions, languages, and even system of writing.
Yes! We can consider Philippines to be made up of different nations since almost each regions have their own unique culture.
I think po both State and Nation ang Philippines, because for us as a Filipino we could say na Nation tayo beacuse we have different regions, but if yung ibang bansa ang mag didifine satin, they can consider us as a one State. sabi nga po na maaring buuin ng ibat ibang estado ang isang nasyon.

The Philippines is classified as a nation-state because the concept of nation and the concept of state are congruent to each other. Moreover, the Philippines is the nation for the reason that we have several ethnic groupings yet we all have the bond and identify as Filipino. We are of the same ethnicity and share the Filipino culture and it's not always the case that a nation has the same culture, tradition and as to the other and it's the willingness to coexist as one. Considered the community of our Muslim brothers who share the same ethnicity but live in various countries. The Philippines falls in the concept of a state because when the treaty of Manila went into force and our country become an independent country and a sovereign state possessing all these qualities. Therefore, I will consider the Philippines as a nation-state.

A state is a self-governing political entity. The term State can be used interchangeably with country. A nation, however, is a tightly-knit group of people which share a common culture.

Hi, this is the explanation given to me by my prof before. Ung elemento ng estado ay prang ingredients ng chocolate cake. Kapag kinulang ka ng isang ingredients, halimbawa, wala ung chocolate, hindi na magigigng chocolate cake ung chocolate. Like the state, a state without a government is just a mass of people, or a state without a territory is just a government in exile. I hope this explanation helps.
