My iPad Won’t Turn On & Has a Black Screen: A HACK THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!

So for the past year or so, my iPad has more or less been broken. I haven’t been able to turn it on at all… maybe a couple times here and there but that’s about it. The screen is black and sometimes, there is some scroll stuff going on, but I can’t get it to turn on! I called up Apple to see about doing a repair and it seemed that it was going to be costly.
And then I found a forum where people were saying to gently pat the back of your iPad (as if you were burping a baby) and that IT ACTUALLY WORKED.
I thought that there was NO WAY this would do anything, but since so many people said it worked, I thought I’d give it a go and film it in case it actually did work!
