greeting. I have the same system on my rancho antonio harmonica. I play through an akg pro 40 wireless system. I can't amplify enough because of the feedback. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do to reduce it? the mixer i use is a yamaha promix 01 thank you

      Hi.
Feedback occours when the microphones can "hear" the speaker so make sure the speaker is not pointing towards the accordion.
The front grill of an accordion lets sound through so you can reduce feedback by haveing a less "see through" grill - mine is custom built with far fewer holes in it but tape on the inside could do a similar job.
Lastly EQ can be important - mine feedsback most at about 500Hz so I tend to turn down the lower mid to help prevent this.
      Hope that helps!

Interesting. Its one thing having an accordion amped up but now I clearly see see its all about knowing what effects to use and how

So, i have an internal Mic system installed in my accordion and the guy who installed it said explicitly not to use it on a console that has Phantom power turned on because it can hurt the Mics. The mics are of Musictech with Senheizer capsules but not sure which ones.
Do you have any idea if what he told me is accurate ?
