@@InnerRise He was an aquamancer, but now he is a Sorceror as well which if handled well he will be so much greater. Rain and Reiko are both my favorite characters, but both are Super Genius Pridogy Generals, it will be good to distinguish them by making Rain a Scholar/Sorcerer type.

If you read his bio, he's still an orphan by way of the Lin Kuei attacking his family when they accidentally trespassed Lin Kuei territory. So the Grand Master we once knew was evil actually was ashamed and took Smoke in to be part of the clan. If Bi-han and Kuai Liang exist as brothers, this may very well be Hanzo in this new era. Either way, I'm beyond excited for this to drop.
Don't forget guys, that Sub Zero is Bi-Han, so I guess once an asshole, always an asshole. I think his ambitions will cause the conflict between him and Scorpion and maybe Hanzo leaves him and creates Shiry Ryu. I mean, those guys have to become enemies at some point

Unless it's an editing misdirect, this trailer further reinforces that theory by showing Sub-Zero questioning their position of being followers when they should be leading instead. Also, if you read Scorpion's character bio on the official website, I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves the Lin Kuei to start the Shirai Ryu after being forced to fight Sub-Zero
