Yeah same, It's nice to know the man behind the legend and to know him a bit more personality. It's also encouraging to Dota players all around since it shows even someone that wasn't a gamer or isn't Asian (smart ares lol) can still become a pro. It's nice to know he is a nice guy and has people that support his as well :)

No one played aggressiveness before him. No one goes into bases aggressively to hunt down fleeing enemies before him or maximizing the limit of a hero, fighting all out despite being low HP. When all the pros watched him and how the casters hyped his aggressiveness, you can now see them one by one being aggressive. No one just played that aggressive before him. Back when SF was shunned in pro scene, he made it famous for his plays. Bringing Alchemist dagger to counter AM. The man was a genius.

If you want to become a pro player you can focus on mmr if you want, but that will never make u a pro player in dota ever.
U will need to work on ur flaws, watch your own replays and find a team asap once ur mechanics are on a good level. Dota is 33%communication, 33% teamskill/teamcoordination and 33% mechanics /individual skill. Once u go this way its only a question of ur talent and time u spent until u become a pro. It is also the fastest way. If u concentrate on mmr mainly to get into the proscene u will have to live with the fact that ur only training 1/3 of ur dota skill. Maybe 2/3 once u reach 5k and people can communicate normal at least. But the teamwork aspect will be ur crippling factor. Same happens to miracle its his weak point and a reason for why his old team OG lost several games. They tried to push him with all they had but he couldnt do what was needed for his team because he had the mindset of a pub which is very hard to get rid of.
I hope i helped u to do what u want, but be warned, for many people this is a dead end and u probably wont be abled to get into the proscene so always have another plan.

as Eternalenvy said you can't be a pro unless you can maintain 7k mmr, play in a team combined with your job/studies. If you can- there is a chance this career might work
