Oh wow! 5:59 From the looks of it 15:58, Gentaro because of his bulky stout physique is likely to outweigh Momotaro when he is fully grown around 16 years. Momotaro has a magnificent height of 6 feet 2 inches ( a lot taller than most silverbacks) when walking bipedally. His build is very chiseled with striated well defined muscles 6:25 especially in his neck, chest and arms. His weight fluctuates between 401-408 pounds. Gentaro is currently around 345 pounds. 25:10, 26:05 In all fairness excellent father Momotaro tries his hardest to avoid conflict with son Gentaro. He deserves more recognition for his efforts. My handsome fellas 💋.
Yes Momotaro tries to move away from Gentaro to avoid a skirmish, but the father has to discipline the son when it becomes too much. The zoo should do an "out/in" separation like other zoos who have separate troops that share the same enclosure. For example for 2 hours at a time when Genki, Momotaro and Kintaro are outside Gentaro is in the indoor enclosure, and then after 2-3 hours switch. This is how the zoo can successfully separate Gentaro from Momotaro. Gentaro turns 13 years old December 21st. From the looks of it, Gentaro is definitely showing alpha like behavior. In a bachelor troop he potentially has the ability to be lead. The two silverbacks cannot be together much longer.
I still haven't forgotten when about a year ago,that the gorillas were given shots in their muscles, and all I can think it was steroids, because all their muscles are getting bigger and Momentaro is very noticeable,since he is a the age to grow no more,his neck muscles has grown a lot recently and that could explain that they have mood swings so much,I hope they aren't doing that. They all need to be separated, they don't like each other, never get along and one day one or more will get hurt bad,I don't think Momotaro is through giving Gentaro scars,I'm starting to dislike them, and it's rubbing off on Kintaro,he's starting to act like them, and he seems to be aggressive and agitated,maybe Momentaro can be sent to a bachelor's group and Gentaro to another bachelor group and Genki to her family and Kintaro where there is kids close to his age,or take them to the wild, whatever happened to the second ground,, how come their not using it,I think they think it's not good for the business, that Gentaro isn't around them so it's more boring and really don't care enough about them.
