    Let a=x^2,b=y^2,c=z^2,d=w^2. The biquadratic eqn is a/(t-1)+b/(t-9)+c/(t-25)+d/(t-49)=1 whose roots are 4,16,36 and 64. Now compare the coeff of t^3 ,we get a+b+c+d+1+9+25+49=4+16+36+64, So a+b+c+d=36(Ans).

    Sir, solution dekhne se pehle maine try kiya, aur man me yahi same trick aaya ki sabhi equation ki denominator me jo numbers the unka kahi na kahi '2' number ke saath relation jarur hoga main aadhe tak pahunch gaya tha lekin equation solve nahi ho paaya😢😢.Thank you for the solution sir..

    Amazing question sir!! Didnt expect ki equations merge bhi ho sakte hai... recently quadratic(2 degree) ke topic ke kuch sawal kiye the toh attempt krne ki koshish ki 😂 par question ki jagah mujhe ghutne tekne pade 😅. I was thinking to substitute values from 1st eq to 2nd and so on... par expand krne ke baad jo aaya use dekh ke samajh gya galat kr rha hoon!

    I solved it by calculating which was very lengthy process and answer was approximately 34.___ and according to options it was 36 which was correct answer but calculation is little more

    A.X=B,
    C=[A:B]
    जब आप सॉल्व करेंगे तो 4 इक्वेशन मिलेंगी जिसमे 3 इक्वेशन 3 अननोन की भी इक्वेशन मिलेगी उससे तीनों unknown की वैल्यू निकालें और चौथी इक्वेशन में put कर दें

      In first equation in place of 2^2 put t,we will get an equation of power 4,roots are,2^2,4^2,6^2,8^2,then sum of the roots=--co efficient of t^3/co efficient of t^4

    Taking common..ans is 0
    U can also check

    after reading the whole question , it is clearly evident that the answer would be a perfect square only i.e. either 16 or 36 as in options
    but i checked for 16 only , did not check for 36 which turned out to be the ans

    Sir maine isse iss tarah sei kiya , PLEASE CHECK
    Maine yeh socha ki charo number ka square hai toh number positive ayega , maine x,y,z,w ko same number honge aise sochke chala kyun ki alag honge toh answer bada hota and option mein nhi hai utne bade answer . Kisi bhi 2 negative number ka sum positive ayega and 2 positive number ka sum positive ayega , hence isse yeh pata chalta hai ki answer odd nhi hoga toh 3rd option 25 eliminate hoga . Phir as maine assume Kiya tha ki sab number same honge toh mujhe yeh samjha ki sabka sum karenge and unhe 4 sei divide karenge toh ek non integer number ana chaiye ( kyun ki mostly long sums mein integer value normally nhi paayi jaati ) . Phir maine iss baat sei jana ki option 2nd 18 nhi ho sakta .phir maine 1st and 4th ko observe kiya and paya ki yeh x , y, z ,w inka value ek toh 2 ho sakti hai ya 3 ho sakti hai. Phir maine 2 put karke dekha 1st equation mein toh equal nhi aa rha tha . And 4th option bacha tha sirf , so maine usse select karliya . And jab check kiya toh sahi tha .
    So the answer is D option 36
    3²+3²+3²+3²=36

    Actually , this question is from aime (maths Olympiad) , came to in paper between 1985-1990 , I don't remember the exact year, i have done previously in maths Olympiad preparation, found it to be tough , because it reflects new idea change into (polynomial equation)but i remember this idea to apply on other questions .....

    Sir I have a solution that if I Put the value of X by using denominators and other terms as 0,0,0 then from Ist eqn I get the value of X as√3 and waise baki eqn se bhi y,z,w mil jayega as √7,√11,√15 respectively .
    Humara and ho jayega tab 7+3+11+15 = 36 . Thanks sir for giving us good question

    Sir first of all thanks for the solution
    I took 1 hour to solve by assuming X2=a. y2=b and so on solved the linear equations and then get to the answer while solving I realised that there is something common in all the equations and by seeing the solution I got to know what is common..thanks Sir.

    Im in 10th i guessed the question as everything is same only the first denominators are differing so i did 8-2 and as it is squared i did 6² and it is 36 i then try to understand sir method i tried and understood it...

    Yaar pehla brute force approach to lg rha ki haan sare equations ko matrix form me arrange kr lo idhar. Phir dono side wo jo 4×4 wali matrix hai uske inverse se multiply kr do, bs x2, y2, sb mil jayenge add kr do.

    Sir i made a grid of the values of denominator in question.....waha se around 10 mins tak usko ghoorta raha fir chamka ki 4k minus something ban raha hai.....uske baad ho gaya sawal

    Hi Sir,
    This solution is completely new approach to me. I thought several methods to solve this equation but nothing work, I mentioned all those method below
    1) Consider it as a linear equation try to solve it through matrix
    2) think of it an 4D ellipse try to figure out property to crack it
    3) Try to find solution through graphical method But doesn't work.
    Thank you for this new approach.

    Mei base mei uske (a+b)(a-b) laga kar kiya but koyi result nahi hua, mei ne x=y=z=w bhi lagaya but still no, mei ne same kind of terms common lene ka socha but sabhi ko nahi le paya😂, yeh tha mere solving jo nahi hua

    Sir, Mai jee aspirant nahi hu but Maine isko 4×4 matrix ki inverse nikal ke kiya, but iss mei inverse nikal ne ke baad bohot bade numbers agye the
    lekin mene bharosa rakha aur dekha ki w² ki value 25.707 something tha (x²,y²,z²,w² > 0) so isse Maine conclude Kiya ki answer 36 ayega

    Sir doesnt it looks like shere equation how can we do it using that'
    First three equation has left term smaller in denominator,
    Which leaves only fourth option to become sphere,
    We don't need to solve this on exam
