When my family moved to Brooklyn (New York) in 1978, there was a place across the street from our home with a jukebox. I always played this song. It's now 2019 and we're still in the same house. Disco lives forever!
Yes Disco does live forever. It's said however that some people had a movement to ban disco. Hate really sucks. If music makes you move and makes you happy, sobeit. You've never seen a movement hating any other genre of music whether it was Rock, Metal, or Country. We just leave people alone and let them do whatever they wanna do. But to hate Disco really uncovers something more than what it was/is and we all know what it is. #pinkelephant

I dated an older lady who lived in Brooklyn since the early 50's. Disco was her heyday. When she moved in with meshe had her records shipped from Brooklyn to Florida and this was one of her many gems in her collection. The stories she told of New York at that time were mind blowing. Thanks MaryAnne for the memories...
I grew up in Brooklyn at this time too. I was 6-years old when this song came out but I remember my mother and her friends having many parties. it was a fun time.
As a little kid I knew something amazing was happening with the adults but I didn't know exactly what, LOL! But I do remember what a great era it was overall and how grand everything seemed, if that makes sense. This song was definitely the ZENITH of that sound and era for me.
I was just 17 when this song came out I was sneaking into the bar Studio 1 in Dayton Ohio and the DJ mixed this song to no ends the ppl would be on the dance floor for hours great memories
Not even Todd Terry has managed to do better than this piece and its invincible originality needs nothing else. An eternal, perfect, fantastic piece! This Is The Disco Music!
Always loved this version . Never liked the remixes . They added all those sound effects which I thought took away the Beauty of this mix. This was just so beautiful and clean. Absolute classic ❣️
Half way into the Disco night and this song playing outloud. I remember being dancing and jamming like these three ladies in the control room. There's nothing like Disco music keep you in good spirit.🕺
A 1 vez que eu ouvi essa musica foi em 1988, comprei esse lp em Lambari MG no mesmo ano e adorei. Tenho esse vinil guardado ate hoje SUPER SHOW👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I was 10 years old in the new year 1978 ,and I fell in love with this tune. It reminds me of my Special Ed Teacher 's Aid Mrs. Greenberg. Who I admired as a Child.❤😅😊.
I lived in Los Angeles, and we had a couple of radio stations that played disco. But there was one station from Mexico that was popular. They would play the full versions of the songs straight from the Album. It was so cool back in the day. Great Memories!!
R&B disco tidal wave...length on mainstream radio. Loved both the original and Todd Terry version. Remembering top of the pop and MTV europe. The orchestra and the vocals blow our soul and our feet, as swell!

Super disco hi-energy classic. Vicious violins. Great orchestral mix. Good femme sassy singers. So danceable. All over TV for 78-79. Another Prelude sex disco classic. Thanks, Musique. Vive les disco freaks...
I have this CD. The only three songs on this album were 'Keep On Jumpin', 'Summer Love', and 'In The Bush'. And yet these three cuts were all that were needed for this Unidisc album to sell like hotcakes. I would own it a million times over... Another big Unidisc seller was Gino Soccio. His track 'Dancer' was definitely a disco classic...
Michael Richardson : I love this disco classic. Musique: sings keep on jumping, and that's exactly what I will do in 2022 I am going to keep jumping in November 2022 and through 2023 God bless disco it has been a positive impression in my life. MIchael Richardson New York City.
Is this the same song that's supposed to be in Knight Rider Ep 11: The Final Verdict? (the scene after Michael Knight locates Marty at his work site, only to lose him, and the next day after, Michael returns to the same fitness center to ask about Marty, and a similar song plays during the scene).
Michael Richardson: I live in Brooklyn New York. This is a Paradise Garage and Better Days classic. I surely miss those memories I'm 59 years old and I'm going to " keep on jumping." Michael Richardson New. York City 11/2/2022.
Michael Richardson Brooklyn New York God bless the 1970-80s disco era. this song I heard at the Paradise Garage, and better Days. such memories. Michael
I just flew back from Guadalajara, Mexico, very nice people they are very welcoming and willing to help if you're lost. Omg! I just went to Capital Brokers Real Estate in Guadalajara and the homes for sale are amazing for what you pay in California. Like a beautiful home with a pool is great for the price. Growing like crazy. It is the Silicon Valley of Mexico. Just amazing. Their presentations are nice with Dance and Rock music added to the mix.
Didn't know this song existed. I heard Martha Wash & Jocelyn's version about 10 years ago. I wanted to listen to that version again (after years of not hearing it) because I NEED REAL VOCALISTS WHO CAN ACTUALLY SING! Being able to actually sing is an option nowadays, isn't it? Boy I sound OLD! :-)
The best of funky music you just can't help it but to keep on jumpin, I listen to some radio stations here in London England, and the music they play is crap, it's all serious rap or noise about don't do drugs get involved with gangs, or carry a knife to stab somebody the music here reflects the society we live in, I grew up with this happy groovy music, went to clubs there was no violence, or race hatred everybody was happy naturally, there was no drugs, just a social drink and even when people got a bit merry it was hey let's get onto the dance floor people here have become too serious and uptight, 😭bring back the great sound of the late seventies early eighties Jazz funk soul and disco, the Gibson brothers started it all off with Saturday night fever, you should be dancing yeah, I used to meet up with my friends on a Saturday night in a local pub, we were all young casuals designer clothes Farah slacks double breasted blazers patent shoes, smellin of Givinchy or Paco Raban, had a few jars there, when closing time came, it was off to a club in toottenham call Eltons great music great vibe, it was pure magic xx♥️🇮🇪❤️🇰🇿😍💏🍀👍 lucky 🍀 ☘ like Irish.

Good old songs never die away, but singers do.
They eye on the disco storm, 1977-78. Awesome times with unlimited fun.

Acho que o baixo desempenhou um papel fundamental nesta canção determinando o ritmo e o andamento. Talvez eu esteja errado.
