We had a item on the Australian news the other night, someone in the U K was putting up signs to say their cat wasn’t homeless and un fed , as people kept taking him to the shelter thinking he was a stray. I expected Doug’s photo to pop up, but it was another cat. So it must be a thing . Bridget
Paula, there’s the solution to the ‘Doug in the road’ dilemma….you have to sit out front everyday til winter lol😂. He looks so cozy on your lap. I am so enjoying your vlogtember and the ongoing Doug saga! Cats are impossible aren't they! But I can't believe how persistant those people are even with your signs up, I'm not surprised you are finding it stressful having to be on constant lookout for cat-nappers! I love how upbeat you are and how you maintain your sense of humour throughout it all! I think you are right about Doug being undecided about which side of the road his 'bread it buttered' on! We found one of our cats used to sit on our next door neighbours step every Wednesday, she was an elderly lady and had her routines - turns out Wednesday she always had tuna sandwiches for lunch and shared them with our cat!

I heard a snippet on the bus one day, but I was standing up in a queue about to get off so didn’t hear the ending. It was one lady talking to another saying “and that’s why I never buy coloured toilet paper anymore!! What! Why?? I will never know now unless somebody on here may have the answer!!
I look forward to the daily updates on Doug 😆. He certainly has an adventurous day when your not looking. Poor Doug, no wonder he gets confused when he keeps getting dropped off at the vets and other people feeding him.

My cat, Kitty, looked exactly like Doug. From one crazy cat lady to another I feel your pain. My boy would not stay inside either no matter how hard I tried, and he had a wonderful home like Doug. Many nights my son came home late and there he would be sitting in the middle of the road :-( He lived a long happy life and even though 4 years have passed without him I still miss him. I love seeing videos of Doug and I love all your videos. I pray for his safety and happiness, keep loving him 🙂

I might have a question. My father was a golden gloves boxer in the 1950's. He was never a warm & fuzzy man so I never asked him, and he passed away in 2010. I would be terrified, by either stepping into the ring or watching my husband fighting. How do the two of you manage to work that out emotionally? One good memory from my childhood was watching my Dad jumping rope. The rope was like a blur, humming through the air & we could barely see his feet leaving the floor. Even in his denim coveralls & work boots he could do this!
