Autechre - bladelores

FLASHING WARNING! PAREIDOLIA ZONE AHEAD! BEAR APPROVED! NOT MY MUSIC, but thankfully TH-cam takes good care of this detail and Play It Again Sam likes us to promote their stuff, so I am happy to-- and have for a very long time indeed, if they only knew. This is the easiest way to show it now, in any case!
I present to you Autechre's fabulous album Exai and in most fabulous fashion. Who doesn't love Autechre AND this album? Right? It's huge and tight and frankly, the funnest one I've done yet, though also the most tedious, just wow. Worth it. 17 tracks, for which there will be a playlist to find when all are present. it's such a labor of love and one of my coolest projects ever undertaken. So many ideas followed and revealed into being-- that was the fun part, thinking them up. o_o
As has been the case for awhile, I made audio stems of the music, then used those to make video stems of the actual waveforms, in motion. EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THIS SERIES IS THE AUDIO. The only thing you see in this series is the actual audio. Maybe consider that as you go, if you go. I shaped it, sure, and of course, hello...but it's still driven completely by Autechre themselves on some level to even be there to see at all. This makes it fun.
After making audio stems into video stems in kdenlive, I take those results over to DaVinci Resolve, which I love love love now. I highly recommend checking both out for their uses in video if you also get up to it. I wish I had the machine I need to take advantage of the potential in front of me now, BUT I get by with lots and lots of rendering. Something like 200gb of it for this round-- more. I'm just working 30fps and 1080p.... I hope to move up in the future to much funner things, but this is pretty peak here for the moment, for me. I do hope you enjoy them, it will be quite the journey with all chapters told.... And go buy some Autechre stuff you don't have! They deserve any and all support. Honest freaking men, best I can tell. Cheers!

I admit I was very happy to get to this point in the sharing...and yes, we are going to space from here. More tomorrow. :) Also, I love the hush that falls when bladelores ends. Helluva song.
