"don't have nightmares, at least not on our account "Nick, you do not mess with catchphrases. Count yourself lucky. Rav's catchphrase was "make sure you leave that space or your message won't get through "

Lots of pranks callers here in 2002, it seems, judging by Nick and Fiona’s comments. This is presumably before online trolling was invented. Doesn’t it make you feel nostalgic
Does anyone know which episode of crimewatch it was where there was a robbery where a woman was crushed between a wall and a lorry as the robbers were escaping?
I wonder if a strong securiity system would make her feel better, or it's locational triggers of flashbacks and that people need to come along with her to reground her to reality.
Good old crimewatch, i used to love watching this back in the day. That sexual assault one, that sick bastard who raped her in her own house. It's bad enough attacking her in the first place but in her own home, is absolutely disgusting
I love the old Crimewatch episodes, but one thing that stands out is the lies and cover ups from the police , for example the investigating officer DCI Pat Steele in the stating clearly that the victim Hugh Cameron was NOT part of any paramilitary group, even stating after 6 months investigation Hugh was in no way involved with any paramilitary group . Below is the real truth of what happened . The Carrickfergus UDA carried out a killing when its members abducted Hugh Cameron outside the Joymount Arms bar. The 36-year-old was taken to a remote area near Glenarm where he was stabbed and beaten to death. His body lay undiscovered for a month and had to be identified by dental records. A post mortem found the murder victim had been stabbed in the chest, hit over the head with a blunt object and his throat had been cut. Hugh - who had been under threat from paramilitaries - was beaten up at a wedding reception in the months before his murder. At his inquest in 2007, a witness explained how he had been keeping an iron bar in his home for protection. www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/news/uda-commander-geordie-gilmore-will-take-secrets-of-a-murder-spree-to-his-grave-35551969.html Was the Police even trying to solve this case , or was it a government cover up ? I would hazard a guess there was a car waiting outside the pub to spot him Or a spotter was in the bar watching Hugh . Maybe even both . I would eat my hat if there was no mobile phone calls made in a 50 meter radius of the pub that evening regarding Hugh's movements . I'm sure due to the location ' hardly central London ' this would have been fast and obvious way of finding the links to his murder via Mobile phone records . I have nothing against the Police but facts, below are lots of facts about the Police and what really happens behind the public's back . www.bentlawyersandcops.com/featured_cops.htm
I wonder if they got the burglar at 11.33 in Elstree. They only offered a reward when they got no response, then loads of calls came in. Who gets the reward if more than one person calls. I suppose you could say the first call, but it would be hard, cos they are taken by different members of staff. They must write the time down, I suppose. I'd like to know if it was solved.
Does anybody remember a case that was on CW maybe around 2004-5 when a young couple went into a takeaway, the girl used the toilet upstairs then when she came out one of the guys from behind the counter forced her into a bedroom and raped her then afterwards the takeaway owners did a runner??

a decent cab driver will take you ALLthe way home and let you take ypur adress down to pay later/ from those days/ /to think your seconds from home and you get attacked ,it would be hard to live with/
Some taxi drivers, these days, take a photo of the person they drop off, cos they were often the last one to see someone who went on to be murdered, and got the blame. The photo proves they did take the person all the way home.
Quite often they use actresses who are a bit older than the 13-17 range, possibly its because they have to be mindful it could be an upsetting thing for the actress to film, especially if they were to be under 18.
