Iv been using the hideout all summer doing my one nighters ,iv owned quite a few brollys over the years and have to say this is the easiest brolly iv owned ,goes up quick ,it's well made like the lo pro is ,very stable for a brolly and keeps the rain out ,can't fought it ,perfect summer shelter
Still by far the best shelter ive ever used. Use it all year round open fronted pegged low in winter just an incredible versatile easy to use shelter. Im 47 now so either it needs to last another 30 years i reckon or you have to make them till im too old to fish lol. Best thing ive ever bought in 30 years of river carp angling i shit you not
They are great spring ,summer shelters I have both ,but I wouldn't use them in the dead of winter ,your be better off in a bivvy.in the winter ,just my opinion
Top brolly i use the nash scope brolly can't be arsed with bivvy s need to be quick and easy to put up and down when doing overnighter s or to move on to another swim 👍🎣🎣🎣
Don’t even think about saying “it’s ok even if you’re quite tall”. This is 100% not suitable for tall people. It’s a world of pain to get in and out of.
Mickey Thomas We have quite a few tall users over 6ft who use it regularly.. I suppose it depends how you set it up - even when set really low once inside and sat on a bed there is still headroom. If you mean the getting in and out is an issue then most Brollys require you to bend to get into. The Hideout has much more headroom for taller long session users.
Sam Gomersall ive fished through 2 winters on my local tidal in the most horrific heavy rain. Never leaked ever. I use it open fronted all year fishing once a week every week. Best brolly by far
They are excellent brollies, you can get the hide out for £200 now ,it has never leaked and it's very well made with a heavy ground sheet ,I recommend one

Nice idea, but material looks like the cheap and nasty stuff. Not convinced it would hold out the rain for long
