Man that is crazy great catch if you get a bigger rod I guarantee you will land most of your fish I used to hook a lot of fish with bass rods but did not get them in I went to an 8 foot 6 inch rod and now I land more than not give it a try it will take time but you will land more and the other bass rod people will keep on getting one here and there great video
@@billnurse5321 I’ve got a 8”6’ gander mountain steelhead rod but had it rigged for my centerpin once I get the new pin rod I’ll use that for those kinda applications.
@@ReelMichiganAnglers I had gander mountain it's don't get a good hook set for me all the time but the 8 foot 6 medium sst you will not regret I own tons of rods g loomis and everything expensive wise you can think of but I always go back to my sst rods they just feel right for the fight all my friends would use one and now they all have them put one in your hand and see how it feels we fish with 13 foot with pin fishing but everyone has a preference
