Nice blog...very happy to see the extended family bonding....reminded me of the days in Mannargudi at my in-law’s place..for every occasion all our relative, Athai, finlaw’s Bros, their family...wud come to our place as my in-laws were the eldest....all of them would help in the different activities...cleaning, putting Kollam, making coffee, arranging for the Puja, cutting vegetables ...all other cooking , serving etc...Awesome time we used to have...nowadays all are on their own!
To rasam we put only rasapodi n' t sambar podi little T dhaljust 2 spoons onespoon peper ,one spoon zeera some 6 red chilli 2 spoon dhaniya with little ingu we useto rost it andmake it powder n't v fine powder, add this powder with tamarinewater with saltas per required, for five people u can add this powder if it's for just two add just 2spoonsof powder and u add 2 tomato then boilit for some time ,after 10 min add dhal with water then do thaduka means thalipu with gheeadd little saswemeans kadugu,and pour it on rasam put some fresh k pattha and fresh coriyander leaves on ur rasam cover it with lid then swithoff the gas then enjoy with rice and ghee feel h tasty it will be try this ican even put oner 2 green chilli too but if u don't like spicythen reduse even red chilli 2 and one g chillithen enjoy.
With roasted alu rbindir even with r with poricha applamreven chutta AppLam it will be v tasty Reith vadamtoo r with bengan means kathrikapodi idithakariit will be vtasty
