SSC CGL Syllabus 2024
SSC CGL Syllabus 2024 consists of 4 subjects primarily- General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, General Reasoning, and English Comprehension. Candidates need to understand the basic concepts/rules/formulas in subjects such as Quantitative Aptitude, General Reasoning, and English Comprehension and learn the fundamentals from NCERT books for General Knowledge at the beginning of their preparation.
It is well known that the SSC CGL exam consists of two stages, Tier I and Tier II, with different difficulty levels. Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the SSC CGL are conducted online. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature, whereas the final selection is based on the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam.
SSC CGL Selection Process 2024
Before we proceed with discussing the syllabus and exam pattern, candidates must be aware of the CGL Selection Process. The SCC CGL Selection Process includes two stages- Tier 1 and Tier 2 CBT Exam. Tier 1 is a qualifying exam where objective questions for 200 marks are asked. Tier 2 decides the merit list and the level of the questions in this tier is tougher than Tier 1. Tier Type Mode
Tier - I Objective Multiple Choice Computer-based (online)
Tier - II (Paper I and II) Paper I is Compulsory for all posts whereas Paper II is for candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO).
Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module II of Section III of Paper-I will be asked.
Computer-based (online)
There will be no Paper III in the Tier 2 Exam, as no vacancies for AAO post has been notified in the official notification.
